Sunshine
A beam of light,
Falls through the sky.
A bird singing,
though I don't know why.
The light is warm;
Heating my skin.
It's beautiful out.
I'm ready to begin.
Should I run?
Maybe play?
Take a walk
By the bay?
I'll go outside,
Lie on the grass.
I need to go soon,
Maybe I'll pass.
A beam of light
Falls from the sky
A bird is singing,
And I finally know why.
