We are trembling again and again
Women are rarely triumphant
Against their own demands
And men never truly understand
What it is they must defend
We are negligent and foolish at best
Yet its better to laugh than to pretend
That we think we know what’s best
We are really not fooling ourselves
But we are making fools of our self
Whenever we are not singing
Or even listening to
The Rules
Of our
Heads
Bodies
Fingers and feet
For they already know
Exactly how to dance
To the Beat of these diseases
