Today, the first day of spring
The first day, of everything.
Such a lovely
time of year, that spring.
It creeps up on you
greets you with
wonderful winds
surprises you
with new smells
and colors
new tastes
so alive
it feels as though
it's been forever
I've waited for you
to grace me with
this wondrous weather
I'll miss you Winter,
but spring,
is incredible
