Within the spinal column of the earth
We tell fortunes and make empires fall
Our hearts collectively exhale
Before the sound of our victories
Among the birds and the treetops
We dwell in the scent of immanence
Dancing human bodies make choices
That reflect their connection to existence
We are only instants of inspiration
Naked against the fence lines
Money can’t buy you friendships
Or save you from your self
We are all unhealthy lovers
Underneath our firmaments
Mundane apples never begin
To tell you all their secrets
And feelings abide in the resistances
We've divided underneath our skin
