I’m writing my thoughts out onto paper
for the love that I have for you, the days
when you aren’t around and all I can think
about is you, your midnight eyes, your smile,
ebony horizon, your sultry soul.  The rivers
of your skin on my chiseled chests, mesmerizing
beats blowing within the streets of your poetry
jam into my system, watching the sunset
fade away each day, the pine trees breathing
in the breeze, shaking their bodies in a bed
of glory, the scenery around us a still
sensation reminding us that we will always
be together, that no matter how far apart
we may be, we will always be on the same
wavelength, the same synchronicity,
harmonious hearts riding the planes
of love, clung to each other for eternity.
