Tolerance
What do you do
When there's a contract out on you
Do you blacken your face then run and hide
When the deeds of yesterday
Are today slapped in your face
Then thrown in the trunk and taking out for a ride
You can toss out all bets
When it comes to tolerance
That you ever will see it again
Unless you drain the lake
Of regrets and mistakes
And find it in boots of cement
When tolerance got carried away
In its hey, that's okay
We all make mistakes now and then
Where we're all the same
In those daily mistakes
What happened to live and let live
I may judge you
But don't you dare judge me too
Remember what happened to tolerance
Blindfolded and stuffed
Into a waiting cars trunk
And fitted with those shoes of cement
