If you’ve never tasted what it's like
Then you won’t know what to expect
Until it happens again and again
So we protect our talents
Like we defend our beds
As if we are strangers taking strange advice
And turning ourselves into anthills and mice
Miscellaneous meanings are never opinions
So go on seeking your own wisdom
From tonight until tomorrow
We may find an ending to our cries
But the crisis of our lies will remain despite
The fact that we already know deep inside
That none of us can ever arrive here twice
