Rebound
Maybe they were right all along.
Maybe I was just your rebound.
Your past-time babe,
Your "present" lover.
I wish I didn't love you the way I do,
I wish I didn't see that you deserve the best of me.
Maybe I still have myself,
Maybe I'm still alive.
'Cuz you hurt me so bad,
And I am taking it so deep.
