You taught me that letting go is easier than fighting to keep what has been lost.
You taught me that blood means nothing when a less scarred life can be sought.
You taught me that being cruel and heartless has more impact than kindness.
You taught me to never trust or love unless both can be done with deceitful blindness.
You taught me that family are those with whom can be impatiently tolerated or fooled.
You taught me to close my eyes when swimming through the best part of the pool.
You taught me that opening my eyes would lead to the ignored and naked truth.
You taught me to be a defenseless coward against bosses and bullying youth.
You taught me that hard work and making money are more important that love.
You taught me to forget you because my existence is something you no longer think of.
