Do Not Define Me
If You do you
and I do you too
how would I know
my worth to be true.
would I have left
the house of glee
that stays on my face
most eagerly
to please
those who have no
interest in me.
or am I just another you
looking for smiles
that keep calling me boo.
But we are each other
more of the same
how different we are
is a matter quite lame.
For there is a little of me
and a bit of you
in everything sentient
that we do
Makes life more
meaningful and souful alas
the diversity of life
makes this place a blast.
So you be you
and I'll do me
together we'll live
in authenticity
