Any baker who be by the
man of excise be caught
by misdeed of undercutting
a pan by weight shall be
brought before the assize of
bread where there he shall
answer to a magistrate and
all loafs henceforth be scaled
after and not before each pile
of damp dough be dried and
lightened by heat but told and
sold at the original weight for
which a pauper can ill afford.
