A Loan Of Bread.
The N is a long way from F
on a qwerty key board.
So, the title is not a misprint.
Hard to imagine it now,
but we grew up in a terrace
where borrowing was constant.
Cups of sugar, tea, half a loaf.
They say that eaten bread is
soon forgotten, I think not.
One never consciously looses
the memory of generosity.
