This old Earth, is dying
I feel it in my bones
I see it in the water
It trembles in the stones

You can tell me that you don't believe
You can tell that I'm foolishly deceived
But I can hear her louder every day
I cannot feel it any other way

We have bruised her body
We have bruised her soul
Poison in the waters
And the places of our home

You can tell me that you won't believe
That what I say is just a foolish dream
There will be no time to make amends
By the time you hear her final songs

Mother Earth is dying
I feel it in my bones
I see it in the waters
It trembles in the stones
