On the face of it, one would
assume by the title, that this
is bread made by ones mother.

Not so, Mummy's Bread is a
term used for the discovery
of yeast in the pyramids.

At the point of burial, the
aristocrats were adorned with
gold, silver and urns of yeast.

Archaeological digs by geologists
have uncovered deposits of live
yeast thousands of years old.

Recently, with the help of bakers,
bred has been produced from these
scrapings, known as Mummy's  Bread.
