Sometimes starting
woodwork and the people who emerge from it
reminds me that whatever
I will never
be a woodworm.
come and claim your compensation,
condensation or is it rising damp?
and
that's the culture is it not?
to claim on everything you've got
with a little extra
to bump it up.
and then she thrills me with that,
shall we?
and
poetry takes a back seat
