It’s funny how easily
We can feel abandoned
Even when they’re in the same
Room as you
Something as simple as a look
Sends your anxiety through the roof
It starts
The questions
The never ending what if’s that
Suffocate any logical thought until it’s
But a faint whisper amongst the roar of doubt
When will I move on
And realize it’s okay to be alone
Even if I’m not
