How I wished I can sleep tight...
But you never come to me easily...
You don’t know how many hours I waited for you to come...
Staring into darkness...
Pondering over things I like to forget...
You made me revisit all bad memories...
You made me cry all over again..
With nobody beside me...
I curled up and comforted myself...
And waited for you to come and claim me...
How I wished to fall into a dreamless sleep...
And not waking up at all...

But when days and years passed....
I embraced the sleepless night...
Where I stared to dream...
I made friends with books and music…
Now you couldn’t touch me…
As it’s me who choose when to sleep…
