The devil was once an angel
Just different from the rest
He used to turn the tables
And cheat on all the tests

But one day they kicked him out
And he got upset
Because what they didn’t know
Was that he didn’t mean to be a threat

And now he’s the devil
Feared by all
Now he’s the devil
Blood on his crown
And he takes all that he wants
And he spreads his word through me
Cuz he’s the devil
And he’s really not that mean

So he wandered ‘roud for days
Trying to find a home
But the world seemed like a maze
And he was unknown

Nobody would come help him
So he set this place ablaze
He’d tried to be all funny
But no one came to play

And now he’s the devil
Feared by all
