Of course, I’m not perfect
I never claimed to be
In fact, my imperfections
Are clear enough to see
But that does not imply
That I haven’t worked on me
Or that I haven’t tried
To unravel the mystery

Who I am right now
Isn’t who I’m going to be
And who I was in the past
Is ancient history
Who shall I become
Is perhaps my destiny
Because I’m evolving
And that should be the key

Like many people that I know
I’m full of contradictions
And tortured at times
By my inner conflictions
But still I live my life
With as few restrictions
As karma will allow
Due to my convictions

And no, I am not perfect
But neither are you
Though I strive to be
It’s not that easy to do
Which says I’m only human
Are you human too?
Because if you are
It doesn’t exist as you knew
