Downwind
For twenty four years I've
been living next door to Alice.
Though it never bothered me,
because she was a vegetarian.
She never had Barbecues, but
now, a carnivore has moved in.
I'm downwind, in a terrace of
people, with whom I've no parallels.
All we have in common, is, their turds
and ours, go to the sameΒ Β treatment plant.
