Another time
but what awaits- deja vu
as before?  
nothing is likely to be new-

another time
the past is an appendix
inoperable and undetachable
though the body is grievously sick-

another time
promises are too quick
to fall unto the dust
reality springs to kick--

my parting hour I can't pick
only the now matters
nothing else does stick.
