Our grim friend (how scary can you be)

Flesh without a soul, or a soul without flesh Our grim friend how scary can you be With eyes so deep they are deeper than the sea In depths so deep only you are the key Come take me down, down to the hanging tree Show me how this world was full of glee Your whole life is in black and white *And you’re so much darker than me* A life without owing softness is free A death without life was always meant to be There are no keys to the doors of the past Time will still run by so very fast With bones so grey and old they are shine like new His eyes so brightly black they stare through you Like a hell within hell, cry’s that will never tell Pray you will never see Our grim friend how scary can you be
