my arms felt so strong
but the steel against it felt better
has it been that long?
to feel the warmth - that shelter

letting the crimson drip
they say it’s pathetic and dumb
but these little slits
were to prove i’m not numb
sometimes you can feel so empty you try to do horrible things to yourself just so you know you're still human
