A vessel that will not sink
It will shake, it will bump but will not break
It will sail, it may wail but it will not fail
This vessel has an anchor to keep it still,
When it's rough, when it's tough
or when it's had enough
Through the storms and the mourns
it will not be torn.
The anchor is the people that give it love
so through the winds and the waves it can float above
For the sea which it sails is unlike other seas
No shine, no calm; It does not know peace
And so the tides be unforgiving
And the times never ending
Still this body should never think
That it won't make it to shore.
Because we are vessels
that refuse to sink.
a rough night on 2017
