I was hunting, aloof,
At last! I found you.
Together we vanquished them
Until it was you and I left lest,
They try us to possess.
Keep my mind sharp and my digits deft,
Keep my talons like razors
And my feathers well-kept,
I am hunting, aloof,
Company kept by the sound of your hooves.
Safety collected by the snap of the noose,
Their bodies, their bodies, the proof.
