While sitting on the sea shore, under a tree,
I’ve seen the first ray of the dawns light
As it approaches me from across the open water.

I’ve seen the ghostly pale light of a full moon
Dancing with the shadows of the forest around me.

I have seen the multi faceted light from stones,
So expensive I’d have to work a lifetime to afford one.

I have seen the wondrous light of Comets,
As they cross the sky for nights on end.

But none of these,
Alone or combined,
Hold a candle to the light in my loves eyes,
As she sees me walking towards her.
