I play a
symphony
of destruction
upon my flesh.

Curls and kettlebells,
pushups,
and box jumps,
alternated with
step ups,
and lunges.

Fixing fast twitch
and slow twitch
muscles till
they restructure themselves.

I play my body
like a violin,
but I’m violent
with erratic
and explosive
movements.

High speed,
accelerated
velocity,
and impact
to match that
as I sweat through
the music I move to.

Endorphins,
and brain derived
neurotrophic
factors
to increase
my mental aptitude,
while I laugh
and groove.

I’m happy to,
cause it elevates
my mood
and helps make me
much improved.
