It doesn’t matter what Military Branch
It also doesn’t matter what rank
This is Memorial Day, our time to thank
From the Army to the Navy
From the Air Force to the Marines
But it also extends to the National Guard
Protect and Defend
A Soldier’s call, “Conquer and Deliver”
Ship to Shores
Governing the skies
Helping us all to realize
A Soldier’s life is always on the line to Death
The Military is the USA’s soul
One in numerous
Keeping the opposition from being conscious
This is a Special Day
Memorial Day in celebrating
Soldier’s lives that were loss
Remembering the continuing Force
Captivation to one’s that served
Again, Memorial Day being a Reserved
Marching on until the end
A sunset with a sudden sundown
Military the Solder’s are
Distances that can become far
So Soldier’s unite
Red, White and Blue that shines bright
The Flag that stands
As a Soldier, we are at your command
We are always ready
Soldier’s at ease in holding steady.
