..and it's back on the Central
I must be mental, ( quick arithmetic)
okay not mental but definitely sick because who else would choose to work on a Saturday?

They're
Short staffed, short of brains
that's why I'm on these trains
which by the way are slower than
my trains of thought.

Thinking ahead,
better working than dead
an adage for old age

I'm cutting this one short
before I get maudlin
before I shed some tears
for the times of my life
for the passing of years
and the times I've been caught
with no thoughts in my head,

an adage for old age,
better working than dead.
