May 2019
I went to the rodeo with my friends
It seemed like a fine way to spend
A wonderful weekend
There were fun and games
As ways to stay entertained
But I wasn't content just holding my belt loops
So I decided to escape the chicken coop
For a different group
That was most uncouth
And saw a bull with the horns of Satan
And the torso of an Abrams
Its power and majesty mesmerized me
Treating my friends' advice too lightly
I had to take the bull for a spin
Becoming a slave to its whims
I lost my grin and urge to win
Inside the bull's conjured wind
My actions I couldn't rescind
Before it threw me in
A garbage bin
Landing on my *** in St. Judas, Misery
After leaving my friends in a hurry
For a bucking bull's fury
That had my words slurring
By the end of its scurry
All I could do was dust my boots off
And head back to Kentucky
To join the pigs eating at the trough
And consider myself lucky
