Feb 2013
She's heard it all
Like extras at casting call,
She's drenched in flowers
And champagne showers,
You can hear the snaps of necks
The splashes off balcony decks,
The beating hearts
And crashing golf carts,
Whilst all she does is smile
While all the while
The stampede's drone
Can be felt jarring to the bone,
They all fall upon themselves
To be for this queen, kings of elves,
Lay a crown upon this jewel
But for those suitors she is no fool,
Because she's seen it all
Like every other weathered leaf in the fall,
She's a snowflake
The one who takes the cake,
But you can have her and eat it too,
Unless you can't be just as spectacular to her too...
