I once walk in the night,
without any light,
straight into the dark,
leaving without any mark.

I was moving without direction,
knowing no motivation,
lacks any dedication,
and drowned in desperation.

As I wandered nowhere,
you found me in despair,
mind as blank as a desert sky,
as I pass you by.

Then you came near me,
as calm as a morning sea,
slowly sparkling as the stars,
with a melody like guitars.

And then, you spoke,
clearing away the dark cloak,
with your voice so soft,
hitting my head hard a loft.

Steadily I saw the light,
the ones I lost sight.
You've shown me the way,
bringing me back in array.

You are the fire in my life,
burning up the strife,
with a radiant light,
taking away all my fright.

With you by my side,
you will be my guide
to whatever tomorrow brings,
and one day be bonded by the fated strings.
