I know it is not easy
I know it is not clean
I understand it can be hard a lot
Trust me I know it's true

And for some of you
You believe you can never be happy
And to you it may be true

But instead of trying to fix it by,
Picking up that blade
Making it hurt more
Bruising the wound until
it finally overflows

You should smile a little
I know it sounds cliche
But as science concludes
Smiling can make you happier
Or it can delude

So don't stuff it down
Where no one can see
It's still good to feel
God trust me

Even though I don't have faith
I still know we will all live with eternal grace
