So some savant thing
should be said
to close this evening
this weekend
this chapter
of this
saga

****

is what comes to mind
and I laugh maniacally
at my own
word

The dogs eyeball me
and slink off to bed
snoozlers
decide to get a drink first

and I alight along
this cool molecule night
resting its terrors
in the darkened corner

I look at my fists
dreamily
