We wake
to  the
morning
light,

and we
tangle
our feet
and cuddle
close our
bodies,

like two
monterey
otters
at play,

and take
deep
breaths
and sighs,

as we
look
into
each other's
eyes,

and.it
always
feels
like the
first
morning
of you in
my bed.

when I
look into
your eyes
and tremble
a bit
for fear
you might
be leaving.

but you
stayed and
suddenly
my sunrise
finds it's
color.

and my
arms regain
their feeling
as I
wrap
them around
your waist.

and I
promise
to myself
I will
never
let
you go,

till death
do us
part.

and even
then

I promise
you it
will only
be but
for
a moment.

till we
lie in
God;s house
till you
are back
in my
arms again.

and otters
play
on some
distant
monterey
peninsula
beach.

that always
makes me

think of
you........
