I didn't know what to do.
The scythe was aimed for her,
giving me an opportunity to escape the reapers hostil game.
Yet, I won't leave until she is in my arms.
Safe.
I looked around, searching for some type of weapon.
Or a distraction.
The reaper raised the scythe higher in the heavy air.
She shook in terror, her eyes filled with tears.
I didn't think before I jumped, I just did.
I felt the shrilling pain of the weapon cut deep within my stomach. She screamed my name.
"Please don't leave me" She whispered to me.
The disappearing reaper is the last thing I can remember...
