May 2019
What a beautiful mouth you have
And so we beat our boats against
The currents ceaslessly reinventing
Ourselves in the knowledge that
Nothing much really matters
And you don’t have to worry
About flies or parents just
Cleanliness.

And this is how we do it on
The steps of Morocco in grass
Skirts and a sombrero under
A blue sky with tomorrow
Waving goodbye.

Love Mary **
In memory of F Scott Fitzgerald
And the idea of reinventing
Oneself.
