That soft pink valley
needs a big mahogany tree planted firmly there
hard with girth and well nourished and fulsome
smooth to the touch, so inviting with a sheen that glows
so show me your pink valley
make sure it it's grazed, well trimmed and wet with dew
open the gates and make sure you have a warm space ready
I will glide over your trimmed lawns and pat down the soft ground
I will gently feel my way up the mound and gradient to your gap
I will slurp on the dewy lawn and trace the furrows with fingers
and when you say, plant that mahogany tree, I will push it in
I will push till it reaches the bottom of the waiting enclave
I will push again and again as it lodges firmly in place
held tight inn there, strong and hard.
And you will smile, cause you know it looks so nice
gracing your pink valley
my mahogany tree
and you won't have
nightmares,
but dreams
about motions
in the ocean, deep
and blue and warm
