hit the road Jack
and don't you come back
no more no more no more no more
walking like a blind man
who lost his dog
hit the road Jack?
don't worry
I don't want to come back
how could I
this wasn't love
it was necessity
It was survival
and it was rightfully wrong
Don't worry about seeing me
ever again
the road is the only mistress I need
the dust on the cuffs of my jeans
tell my story
far better than any poem I pen
any song you create
So I'll hit the road
but with a love tap
never to come back
no more no more no more no more
