Apr 2019
caught a whiff of you in mothers hair
as the breeze brushed my fresh baby cheek
saw a glimpse of you on the old playground
just you flowing in your own back and forth flair
felt you during junior high slow dancing around
something new and exciting, something enticing
always knowing you in hints, whispers, and glimpses
when you appeared, smelling, looking, and feeling
as I always imagined, my dreams became real
