My heart just wants to cry,
on hearing lamentations from distant shores;
Gossamer angels weep and sigh,
waiting for the magical cure.

Sleep eludes the burning masses,
turbulence incessantly rises and swirls;
Brighter horizons must be uncovered;
before the destruction of our hopes fulfilled.

Just imagine we're all floating upward,
above and across the sage-green sea;
Hoping to touch the vulnerable and weak,
then watching them blossom--heavenly !

We'll see the dividing walls tumble down,
and for those who've wept and suffered before;
Awaken to a life refreshed and renewed,
with delicate souls hovering near the shore.
Inspired by Barbra Streisand's latest CD "WALLS", which touched me deeply.
