Apr 2019
in the
morning when
your room
is filling
with light,

your raven
hair
tangled upon
your pillow,

surely a
angel must
of fallen
to earth.

and is
now lying
behind
your eyes,

as you
rise from
slumber
from
in your
canopy
bed.

and in
the evening
when the
sun retires
falling on
the horizon's
line,

I wish
I was
everything
in your
day that
was in between.

your morning
your night.

to hear
the joy
of your
laughter,

the sighs
of whispers
that you
say in
solitude to
yourself.

to share
the truth
of consequences,

in the
journey of
your life.

to be
the bending
of souls
in each other's
eyes.

to applaud
your life
in it's
miracles,

of mother
daughter
and wife

tonight.
