Laugh in the face of melancholy,
Stand beneath pouring rain.
Overcome past folly,
So as to remain.
Learn to embrace yourself;
Then you can help others.
In the shoes of someone else,
The thoughts you’d gather.
If time is as they say,
We may even change,
Yesterday.
Origami time... rearrange,
My paradigm.
Shift my thoughts and actions,
To something more sublime.
Equal and opposite reactions,
Newton-ion example.
We have finite time,
But it is ample.
Doesn’t give peace of mind,
Simply a mystery of existence.
There is no rewind,
Just an opportunity for persistence.
Try to grow,
Help others.
Inside you know,
We need each other.
