He was struck and abused.
Taunted and attacked.
But continued on against the rush of protesters.
Could we stand his pain?

If chosen to stand in for Jesus.
Who would volunteer?
Or run away because of fear.
Could we be that one?
Standing in for the Son of man.

He requested others to follow him.
And , while it's not reported by ministers.
I'm sure some questioned him.
It's human nature.
Still, they went.
And not all was fishermen.

We know, who's the greatest carpenter was?

Could we accept his assignment to do?
Can we affect others like he affected you?
While proudly proclaiming God is love.
Could we?
