The mountains' streams of my hometown,
revive our souls each day;
We climb the hillside in the mist,
like children left out to play.

Yet as older folks it's not the same,
the words were clear and bright;
"Come with me now, and settle in,
and watch the heavenly night."

The majesty of a starlit sky,
we could barely catch our breath;
And flickering from the angels' light,
was a message bold and blessed.

"See how the world glows in the dark,
your vision must be the same."
We all held hands and said a prayer,
then sat and rested by the flame.

When the angels' fire grew dimmer,
and they softly flew away;
We felt the earth move underneath,
for we were like children at play !

A weary world needs faith and love,
the innocence of children tells;
And once again this mountain's magic,
stirred us toward the mission bells.
