If you look up at night towards the bright city lights
I'll tell you one thing you might see
The Ghost of Kink Kong swinging along
Between buildings like jungle trees

In search of the girl who shattered his world
Before that world shot him down
Tossed in the Circus they chained him to work it
But this monkey wasn't clowning around

You might see him at night with gallon tears in his eyes
Crying for his missing babe Fay
This Monkey's Uncle refuses to let go
Swinging his way back from the grave

No way am I kidding when I say he was smitten
Haunting this side with the hope
That one day he will find her and the world will be kinder
To lonely Ghost of King Kong
