Though it’s a matter
Of the heart
It’s still not easy
To break apart
Makes you wonder
When did it start?
Us together
Being a lost art

People break up
Everyday
When emotions
Get in the way
Guess it’s the price
We have to pay
For one of us
Going  astray

Do I love you?
Yes, I do!
It didn’t come
Out of the blue
Deep inside
I think I knew
I couldn't take
What you put me through

Now it’s over
And it’s done
For all those years
You were the one
And I admit
That it’s not fun
For us to say
We had our run
