Where were you?
At home watching a movie?
Drunk and dancing at a club in a city?
Smoking joints in a shed waiting for delivery?
Lying on a bed needle in vein?
Nothing's in vain
with friends in the game.

Were you walking a forlorn way,
Contemplating the end

or surrounded by people,
Embracing the last social?

Perhaps with your love,
Perhaps without fear.
Perhaps we got game enough
to see next year
