Can't catch a break
They say it all the time
What is this break they speak of
Where is yours, where is mine

It's easy to believe it gets easier
But then, it's not
This break that we dream of;
It's a wonderful thought

But then, it isn't.
For hope is a danger-
It drags us along
Whilst turning us to sadness and anger
To deal with our problems, it's just wrong-
Yet, what is life without hope?
A sad and angry existence
So as you can see, here we have a predicament:

Hopeful and hopeless
They are one and the same
Just another convoluted method of relieving some pain
