Lost Old Friend
I miss you old friend
Who i thought our friendship
would last till the end
For I was mislead
Believed in someone
who would pretend
to be my best friend
For they would forever condescend
until the bitter end
And there I was left to defriend
my dear old friend
In order to let my mind unbend
From this pressure and torture
I was left to contend
As I reflect on our childhood
And the time we would spend
I would comprehend if the past
was ever genuine or just pretend
